Please join us to celebrate a very special Delta Delta Delta Founders Day. We have the privilege of honoring Jane Miller, who has earned the Diamond Circle Degree after 75 years of membership in Tri Delta. You don’t want to miss this unique event honoring our Founders and a special Delta! Collegiate and alumnae members will also work together to make holiday cards for children living with cancer.

We have 2 exciting opportunities coming up for Tri Delta alumnae:

Collegiate Chapter Advisor Recruitment
Thursday, October 27 6-7pm
615 Lake Forest Road, Columbia, SC 29206
With a growing membership of 250+ women, the Alpha Lambda Chapter is working to build a team of advisors to offer more opportunities for service for alumnae and also assist the collegiate chapter. We are looking for alumnae to share their time and talents to assist the chapter in the area of public relations, member development, finance/administration, ritual, academics, housing, and collegiate/alumnae relations.

Even if you do not think you have the time or ability to serve, please join us on the 27th to learn more and help us identify other alumnae who can. We will have wine and snacks and promise to have you out of there by 7pm. For more information, contact me at erin.delta1@gmail.com or 803-546-2710.

Founders Day and Diamond Circle Honoree

Please mark your calendar and plan to join us to celebrate a very special Founders Day. I also wanted to briefly address the recent media coverage of the USC collegiate chapter which has raised questions for some alumnae. Unfortunately, the poor choices of a few have shed negative light on our organization and Executive Office has placed the Alpha Lambda chapter on temporary social probation. The women are working hard to restore their reputation and are focusing on ritual, sisterhood and philanthropy. Please help support the collegiate chapter and Tri Delta by participating in one of the events listed above.

Wine Exchange

When: Tuesday, October 4 from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM

                                       Where: Tag It Art 4517 Forest Drive Columbia, SC 29206

Please bring 2 bottles of wine.  One bottle will be opened for everyone to taste, the other bottle will be given to another Tri-Delta to take home. Every person who attends will leave with a different bottle of wine. 

                              Cheese and crackers, along with other types of food will be provided.

important info regarding recruitment

Dear Tridelta Alumnae,

Due to recent circumstances, we are unable to attend Recruitment Rounds this week, including Pref Night. I am not able to go in to details, but as you may remember, rush is a very exciting time, but it can also be stressful and emotional at times, and we have to trust that the chapter members are making the right decisons regarding potential new members.

The alumnae relations chair has already planned 2 events for alum in the fall and I will be getting that info out as soon as I receive it so get excited!

Recruitment Info/ PREF Round

Hi ladies,
Hope everyone is having a great summer!
Recruitment is coming up for the Alpha Lambda ladies and they would
like for the alumnea to be present at "Pref Round" which as you
remember is the most special round of all. The date is Saturday,
August 27th. Round 1 starts at 1:00pm so if you are interested in
coming, please be there by 12:45. Timing is important. If you come
during the middle of the party, the chapter will get an infraction so
please be on time. If you want to leave after the first party, you
can...or you could stay for all. The chapter members are wearing white
dresses so we are asking the alum to wear black.  I think it would be
great if we could get at least 20 alumnea members so please think
about coming.

Location is the DDD Chapter House, 520 Lincoln Street, Columbia
The chapter may need some additional help with the other rounds, but I
will need to get back to you about dates and times.
